Springtime and Shoulder Problems

I have found that a large number of patients' present themselves to my office in the Springtime with shoulder problems. Most of these patients have been sedentary through the winter months, then as the weather gets nicer we are out in the yards getting them cleaned up to look nice for the season. The weekend warriors are out doing a variety of sports that more than likely haven't been done since September or October.

"Work-related musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) currently account for one-third of all occupational injuries and illnesses reported to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) by employers every year. These disorders thus constitute the largest job-related injury and illness problem in the United States today." -- OSHA
